Construction of Community Sanitation and Drainage Upgrade Works - Makassar, Indonesia

Expression of Interest

The Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE) program is being led by Monash University Australia, and involves a large-scale randomised controlled trial (RCT) of community sanitation and drainage upgrades in informal settlements in Indonesia and Fiji. RISE is now looking for suitable Indonesia-based construction companies to partner with Monash for delivery of the project.

The successful tenderer(s) will be delivering community infrastructure in six (6) informal settlements in Makassar Indonesia, comprising approximately 350 households. The scope of construction works includes manholes, septic tanks, wetlands, pressure sewer, piping, household toilet/sanitation facilities, rainwater harvesting, biofilters, grease traps, drainage, electrical works, potable water, paving and architectural details.

The works are divided into three (3) packages to account for the timing required for construction, the local wet season and documentation updates where needed.
